Happy 5th Month, Sy!

Dear Sy,

Mommy feels blessed to see you grow and glow.  Your positive disposition and very sweet smiles brighten up our day.  You are still very, very active.  Mommy’s doctor in Sydney calls you “a wiggly baby” and these days it gets pretty challenging to change your nappies because you will turn to your tummy as soon as we put you down!  You also like it when people talk to you and you make cooing sounds as if answering back.  You enjoy being outdoors more and you frown when you get bored inside the house.

Mommy will start you on solids pretty soon and I hope you will like vegetables and fruits as much as your Ate Amelie did.  We are still waiting for your first tooth to pop out and we hope it happens soon.  Mommy wishes that you will outgrow your allergies because it is heartbreaking to see you struggle as you go through it.

Sy, my love, we are all excited about the future.  When you can already walk and talk and play with your Ate and cousins.  We are also looking forward to travel with you.  But know that Mommy and everyone in the family savors this time now that you are still our little baby.
